Keto Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
Whether you want a keto-friendly appetizer or a savory and filling lunch, this keto bacon wrapped shrimp is perfect!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Shrimp Extra Large, Deveined, Tail-On
- 12 ounces Bacon Sugar-Free
- 4 tbsp Maple Syrup Substitute
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
Instructions
Depending on the length of bacon, slice each strip in half or thirds.
Wrap bacon around each shrimp, using a toothpick to keep the bacon in place.
Place the shrimp on a large baking sheet. (I used a wire rack over a baking sheet).
In a small bowl, stir together all the dry seasonings.
In a separate bowl, melt butter with maple syrup substitute.
Drizzle melted maple butter over each shrimp, then top with desired amount of the dry seasoning mix. (Reserve a little of the maple butter, for after cooking).
Bake at 400 degrees F for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until bacon looks crispy.
Remove and top with remaining maple butter.
Garnish with fresh lemon juice and parsley, if desired.
