Smoked Haddock Fish Burgers

(Ready in about 20 minutes | Servings 4)


The scallions and Parmesan in this easy haddock burger recipe pair wonderfully with chili powder. 

Serve on keto burger buns, if desired.


INGREDIENTS :-

2 tablespoons sunflower oil 

8 ounces smoked haddock 

1 egg 

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 

1 teaspoon chili powder 

1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes 

1/4 cup scallions, chopped 

1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced 

Salt and ground black pepper, to taste 

4 lemon wedges 


RECIPE :-

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the haddock for 6 minutes or until just cooked through; discard the skin and bones and flake into small pieces.

2. Mix the smoked haddock, egg, cheese, chili powder, parsley, scallions, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.

3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of oil and cook fish burgers until they are well cooked in the middle or about 6 minutes. Garnish each serving with a lemon wedge.
